Wood on the inside, strong on the outside. The strong Werzalit wood material is created from finely chipped, selected wood, in exactly defined mixing ratios, under heat and pressure. In any required shape and with a highly-compressed, homogenous material structure, for which we exclusively use native new wood from permanent forestry.

Along with the material structure, one of the particular characteristics of Werzalit is the special surface refinement. When the rough wood blank is finished, the adhesive forces of the similar resins in the core and surface materials are activated at temperatures of 160 °C resulting in a permanent material bond. Consequently, the Werzalit wood material is extremely resistant to heat and mechanical loading and have a Profiled top surface to enhance moisture run off .

Table tops from Werzalit take everything in their stride that the catering trade puts on them. This is ensured by the patented production process. As a result, they are resistant to scratches and abrasions, insensitive to heat and, of course, completely water-resistant. Whether round, square, rectangular, oval, Contura or trapezoidal - Werzalit table tops are always in tip-top shape.
