Made to measure and fitted items
ChairsGB Manufacture and fits furniture made to measure and made to order, should you order any product which is made to order or made to measure you agree with the following terms: Once you have paid a deposit, sent an official order or signed a proforma, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions on this page, you are legally obliged to complete the order that you have been quoted for. Should you wish to cancel your order once you have agreed to it ChairsGB reserves the right to claim back any costs occurred in making, measuring for and fitting an item you have agreed to purchase. If we deliver goods that you simply do not want, if it has been made to your specification you are still obliged to pay in full. If the product is faulty we are obliged and have the right to fix it to your satisfaction. Should you wish to cancel your order after paying a deposit it is at the discretion of ChairsGB's finance team how much of your deposit to return to you, please note: this may include the full deposit. If we have measured your premises in order to make bench seating we guarantee that the seating will fit on the basis that you have not changed the interior since the measure. If you have measured for the seating we guarantee that the bench will be made to your sizes, should you want us to fit this seating and the measurements are incorrect we reserve the right to charge you for any adjustments that need to be made. If you ask us to fit table tops to your own bases we do not accept liability for the longevity of this fixing.
If you have asked us to fit bench seating to a floor or wall ChairsGB do not accept any responsibility for any damaged amenities that may be behind any walls or floors that you have asked us to fit to. Please make sure you have checked this before you ask us to fit.
ChairsGB's Price Challenge
ChairsGB promise to price match any item that is of the same quality. If you wish to challenge us we ask you to send a quotation or send us to a website that you can see an alternative product.
Payment
Payment can be made by BACS, Credit or Debit Card; ChairsGB reserves the right not to accept payment by Cheque. Credit card payments will incur a charge of 3%. Please contact the office for our Bank Details if you wish to pay by BACS. If you have agreed to finance terms we ask you to strictly adhere to terms agreed, ChairsGB reserves the right to charge a 3% per month charge for any late payments. Our delivery drivers are instructed not to accept cash payments, please do not ask them to do so. If you have arranged payment on delivery, our driver will have strict instructions not to leave your premises until payment has been made.
The Environment
ChairsGB care about the environment and aim to source wooden products from renewable sources wherever possible. We also recycle the majority of our waste and packaging. The courier services we use sometimes deliver on Pallets which are securely wrapped with recycled materials.
Photos and Dimensions
ChairsGB care about the products we sell and aim to source a consistent quality from all sources of supply, occasionally we will source products from different suppliers and the products shown online may be a slightly different color or construction although the general design will be the same. This difference is not deemed as faulty. All dimensions are correct as much as possible but slight variations in size and color may occur. Photographs are correct as much as possible but as screen brightness and color changes on different PC's and print quality differs these are not guaranteed, please check with the office and ask for wood finish sample if you need an exact colour match. Due to the fact the we use different types of wood to construct tables and chairs the colour can vary on wood finish in the grain of a product, please bear this in mind if you are choosing table tops to go with chairs, unless a colour match service has been asked for we cannot guarantee the colours of different products will match each other. Due to the nature of wood, as a natural product, wood grains will vary from product to product and although we try to minimise differences as much as possible some wood grains can be quite different depending on the section of tree used for the product. Some customers see this as a good thing where they want a natural look. If you are concerned about this please talk to us and choose a solid colour for finishing or a laminate which will be very consistent.

We occasionally monitor telephone calls for training purposes. We might share your information with our agents and distributors, and certain service providers to assist with our administration and delivery but will not share your information with third parties other than within the Contract Interiors UK Ltd Group of Companies. We may contact you to tell you about products or services which may be of interest to you. We may also require transferring your information to countries outside the European Union where this is necessary for the above purposes. If you do not want us to send you details of our special offers or promotions or other marketing information or to pass your information to third parties, you must contact us. We may search the files of credit reference agencies, which may record the search. They or we may share information about the way in which you conduct your accounts with other lenders for credit granting purposes, for fraud prevention and occasionally for tracing account holders. You have a right to apply for a copy of your personal information and to have any inaccuracies corrected. Like most transactional sites we may use cookies, which assist us to enhance our services to our customers. Registration
If you wish to register with us you should complete the online registration form giving a user ID and password, which should be kept secure at all times, after which you will become a Registered User. Registration will enable you to have your details retained in our database for future convenience. Non-Registered Users may still browse the Web Site and place orders but payment must be made by credit card at the time of ordering or by contacting us on 01206 820200. The details provided by you on Registration are important and you confirm and undertake that all such information is true, correct and complete in all respects. You agree to notify us immediately of any changes that are relevant to your registration by updating your details on this site by logging into your account or by contacting us. As a Registered User, you may be eligible to receive details of special offers, promotions and benefits from time to time unless you elect not to by updating your details on this site by logging into your account or by contacting us. The "Goods" means the items purchased by you from us via this website, the sale and supply of which are subject to these Terms; ChairsGB will sell and you will purchase the Goods on these Terms. ChairsGB reserves the right to make changes in the specification of the Goods which are required to conform with any applicable statutory or EC requirements, or where the Goods are to be supplied to ChairsGB’s specifications, which do not materially affect their quality or performance. Whilst all sizes and measurements are approximate only we will use our best endeavors to ensure that they are as accurate as possible.
Your Order
You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the terms of any order submitted by you, and for giving any necessary information relating to the Goods and delivery requirements within a sufficient time to enable ChairsGB to perform the contract in accordance with the Terms. We do not file details of your order for you to subsequently access direct on this website unless you are a Registered User. In addition, we suggest that you print out a copy of all order confirmations for your own records. Once your order has been submitted, we will email you confirming your order. This confirmation email will form our acceptance of your offer and will constitute the formation of a legally binding contract between us.
Price
The price of the Goods will be ChairsGB’s quoted price and is exclusive of Value Added Tax. Prices are including any delivery charges for orders of £750.00 or more for standard service deliveries on the UK mainland. ChairsGB reserves the right, by giving notice to you at any time before delivery, to increase the price of the Goods to reflect any increase in the cost to ChairsGB which is due to any factor beyond the control of ChairsGB (such as, without limitation, any foreign exchange fluctuation, currency regulation, alteration of duties, significant increase in the costs of labor, material or other costs of manufacture). Any such increase in price shall be intimated to you and you shall have a period of five working days to confirm whether you wish to proceed with the Order. Your failure to reply to our said intimation will be deemed to be acceptance of the price increase. Any increase in price due to a change in delivery dates, quantities or specification of the Goods which is requested by you, or any delay caused by any instructions of you or failure of you to give ChairsGB adequate information or instructions may also result in an increase in price, which will not be subject to further agreement by you. We try and make sure that all prices on our website are correct but occasionally errors may occur. If we identify a pricing error with the goods you have ordered we will attempt to contact you and you can either accept the correct price or confirm you wish to proceed with the order or cancel it. If we are unable to contact you we will automatically cancel the order and if a refund is due you will be refunded.
Measurements and Finishes
All measurements quoted on the website and in the brochures are average overall dimensions. Dimensions are correct as much as possible but are liable to change and are not guaranteed. If you have received a product that is not the advertised dimensions we will be happy to refund or replace it for you. You have 7 days (from date of order) to request goods to be returned or replaced. Goods may only be returned if they are unused, unassembled, in their original packaging and in a resale-able condition. Wood finishes vary from batch to batch and depending on the type of wood and wood grain used may vary, this is due to the natural material that is wood. Because of this we cannot guarantee that wood finishes will be an exact match. If you are concerned about this we would advise you to use a man-made product from our range rather than a natural wood finish.
Manufacturers Guarantee
Contract Interiors conforms to the Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002 and the Trade Descriptions Act were repealed by the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. Our Guarantee is a full one year’s warranty and is only guaranteed should the item be a manufacturing fault. Items that are subject to abuse or vandalism will not be accepted as a manufacturing fault. All items sold by Contract Interiors are suitable for different types of use in different types of business, heavy and light, some items can withstand heavier use than others. Should you wish to have advice on what type of product is suitable for use in your business we can advise you accordingly. Please make sure that you have checked the KG weight on some chairs for larger customers. Items where customers have asked for bespoke items that are specified by the customer will not be accepted as advised on by us.
Cancellations & Returns
You have 7 days (from date of order) to request goods to be cancelled or 7 days (from date of receipt) for Goods to be returned. Goods may only be returned if they are unused, unassembled, in their original packaging and in a resalable condition. Goods to be returned will be collected by us or our agents. ChairsGB reserves the right to charge a minimum handling fee of 20% of the value of the goods plus collection charges for items cancelled or returned when orders were placed in error or not wanted. This will be deducted from any refund given.
Goods to be returned will be kept safe and secure until such time as they are collected by us. Any damage to the Goods will be deducted from any refund given in addition to the minimum handling fee (if applicable) referred to above. We will refund the price of the Goods (if a refund is applicable) to you less any deductions once the Goods have been examined and within 30 days of their collection from you by ChairsGB. Items that have been assembled to order, custom built, made to measure or finished are not eligible for return unless faulty and if the item is faulty ChairsGB has the right to fix or replace the item to a satisfactory level.
Faulty Goods
ChairsGB invest heavily in perfecting our products and packaging our goods so that your goods arrive in perfect condition. If in the unlikely advent you do find your goods to be faulty please email contact us within 14 days of receiving the goods stating what the fault is and we will call you with the best and quickest way to resolve the problem. ChairsGB will replace the goods if you have a manufacturing fault, ChairsGB will not be held responsible for maliciously damaged items once the item has been in use. Items that are sold by ChairsGB are not sold as indestructible. Flat packed furniture should be checked before assembly to make sure all parts are there and in good condition, if you have missing parts please contact us with information of what the missing part is and we will send out a replacement part.
Wood finishes
Different computers display different tones, the colour of the furniture cannot be deemed as faulty from the image on a PC. We try to use the best images as possible to display the correct colours we can also send out colour samples for almost all our ranges. If you choose to ask us to match to a colour or you choose a specific colour you do this at your own risk, colour matching will be carried out to the best of our ability but can be very subjective and when spraying different types and batches of wood can always vary from item to item. Wood is a natural material and the grain of the wood often determines how heavy a wood finish looks. Please bear in mind that a natural hand finished item cannot be standardized and this is in the nature of the product. Should you wish to have extreme consistent perfection with a wood grain we suggest you choose a man-made laminate product printed with a wood finish where we can guarantee consistency?
Solid Wood
Solid Wood is a natural product and is manufactured by hand. Should you regularly subject solid wood to humid or extreme heat or cold this will affect the stability of the wood and make it warp. This can be seen in the form of cracking and bending of the wood. This is a naturally occurring process of Solid wood and should be expected in some products. This is often classed as a selling point as this is a natural product. Should you not wish to have this effect we recommend you use a laminate or a veneered product which has a more stable finish.
