8mm Quartz The introduction and innovation of thinner quartz stone now provides a cost effective and practical alternative to having to use thicker stone by default.

Thinner quartz is equally as hard wearing and durable as thicker quartz and granite but has the benefit of being significantly lighter and easier to handle. It also provides the opportunity to be overlaid onto existing surfaces as well as being mounted on to moisture resistant MDF to create new work surfaces. It can even be fabricated to create dropped edges of any depth to look like far thicker stone. Other applications thinner quartz is ideally suited for include:
