Britain’s Got Talent Overview
Britain’s Got Talent was first broadcast in 2007 on
ITV and has gained a tremendous amount of popularity since then.
Britain’s Got Talent has won numerous television awards including the award for Best Talent Show at the
TV Choice Awards. With star judges such as
Simon Cowell,
David Hasselhoff,
Piers Morgan,
Kelly Brook and
Amanda Holden, it is easy to see why millions tune into
Britain’s Got Talent every night it is broadcast.
Britain’s Got Talent Contestants
Britain’s Got Talent is famous for finding talent in the most unlikely of people, for example
Susan Boyle who shocked judges
Simon Cowell,
Piers Morgan and
Amanda Holden when she auditioned on
Britain’s Got Talent in 2010 and had the voice of an angel despite her far from perfect appearance. This inspired people who once thought they wouldn’t stand a chance on
Britain’s Got Talent, to apply for the following year’s show and attempt to gain the
Britain’s Got Talent winner’s title. Previous winners of
Britain’s Got Talent have gone on to feature in films and television shows.
George Sampson, winner of
Britain’s Got Talent in 2008, has featured in
Waterloo Road and also starred in the first all British 3D feature film
StreetDance 3D since winning the show.
